  Their strategy is to keep your garantee. They never refund your deposit despite emails to the Ibiza shop to their english headquater, threat to denounce then to the European consumer council !

  We were told we would receive the deposit back a week later which didn't happen, and after emailing and ringing multiple times they said the payment had been blocked on their side – which again was a lie. Following instructions to request an IBAN payment to process the return of our deposit, 2 months down the line Choice Rent A Car have subsequently still not paid back our money and are repeatedly ignoring any contact we make. It has also now worsened as their contact numbers now just go straight to the answer machine.

  I wish I would've read the google reviews before booking as they are all true. It has been the worst experience! I am going to pretty much repeat what has already been said in the previous reviews. I hired the car and paid a deposit of 700Euros which I was told I would get back within 7 - 10 days if I brought back the car undamaged. When I returned the car, everything was checked by one of the guys working for choice and I was again told that i'd receive the deposit. After 14 days I still hadn't heard from them so I tried to call but their phone lines went straight to answer phone. I emailed them several times before receiving the first response in which it said 'i shouldn't worry, the money will be with me soon'. After around a month I still hadn't received anything so I got my dad, who was luckily visiting ibiza shortly after me, to go and speak to them. He was promised the money would be with me 3 days after. Again, nothing!! Then my dad sent his friend who was told the same thing and when my dads friend went a week later the office was closed so there was no chance of getting the money back. Basically, stay clear and do not give them another chance to rip people off. They are a horrible company! I have never written a review but I absolutely had to for this company as no one should have to go through such stress.

  - Firstly, when booking through Atlas Choice there was no mention of having to pay a service fee. Secondly the service fee, as described by the Choice Rent A Car, was to fill up the car with petrol. As we were filling the car up with petrol ourselves and returning it full and presumably the person before us had done the same, why would we be being charged a service fee for a service they do not in fact provide? The agent at Choice Rent A Car agreed that it is a made up fee but said its not his rules and it is his bosses.

  - When we tried to get help from Atlas Choice we just kept getting automated emails. No one was there to help follow up or take responsibility. The initial email they sent stated we collect the car full and return empty yet when we brought the matter p with Atlas Choice that we were being forced to take it full and return full, no one helped rectify the matter or even looked into it.

  - Atlas Choice were unhelpful, didn't disclose full details of the local rental companies T&C's when making the booking of the car (nothing was emailed over when we mad the booking either) and totally shirked responsibility when we tried to contact them while we were away.

  We are now in the process of following legal action with the support from our credit card providers and Atlas Choice rentals (the broker company) to get the full amount back and to a raise serious claim against Choice Rent A Car Ibiza as an operating company. This standard of practice is completely unacceptable and this terrible company will not get away with unlawfully withholding our deposit.

  Myself and my girlfriend, Helen Eckersley, rented a car from Choice Rent A Car on 3 Sept 2016 and returned the car with absolutely no problems whatsoever and a full tank on 11 Sept 2016 which was signed and confirmed by their employee.
